Springbok

I met this gorgeous male springbok in Etosha National Park, Namibia. This elegant antelope is native to Namibia and Southern Africa, and is found in abundance in protected wildlife parks... but the most surprising sight is to meet a herd of Springboks out in the desert! They are able to get water out of the thinnest prickly bushes growing in a harsh desert environment. These antelopes are a truly amazing desert-adapted species.
