Artwork Description
This original painting was inspired by local Scaly-Breasted Lorikeets in a local park (Brisbane QLD) where we are lucky to have a few old gum trees that provide nesting hollows for these birds and other creatures. I am a bushcare volunteer at this park, and spotted this snuggly pair after a morning of planting and weeding. I love how sweet and snuggly these birds are, safe in their softly coloured gum-tree home.
