Painting an upside-down parrot was quite a challenge! Fortunately, I know my reference subject very well - this wild Pale-headed Rosella came to my kitchen window nearly every morning, where I used to live. I had coffee and a chat with her while she preened herself and did funny things like flipping upside-down on a branch!
