Making a difference for animals through art and photography
I am a wildlife artist and photographer, passionate about the environment and conservation. I was born in Moscow, Russia, grew up in Canada, today I live in Australia.
I have loved to draw and create ever since I could hold a pencil. My childhood dream was to be a scientist - a biologist like my mother - but as I grew up I realised I not only enjoyed learning about science and the natural world, I also loved seeing, photographing, drawing, and painting it.
I am a graduate of the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design (NSCAD University), in Canada, where I focused on Illustration and Photography.
I love to observe animals in the wild, and to share Nature's beauty with others through photography and art. Painting from my own experiences (and my own photographs) lets me not only study an animal from all angles, but also strive to portray the personality of an animal, their unique quirks and expressions.
I exhibit with the Queensland Wildlife Artists Society here in Australia, and donate 10% from any and all sales of art and prints to animal charities – because I want to help make a real difference and protect the wild world that I love.
Thank you for your support!
